Junior Project Manager

SecureData is a niche cybersecurity reseller based in Maidstone, and we are currently seeking a Junior Project Manager to join our rapidly expanding Project Management Office.

Reporting to the PMO Manager the Junior Project Manager will provide dedicated commitment to manage projects on behalf of SecureData, delivering those projects to SecureData’s scope, time, quality and cost expectations. This role requires the smooth management of a portfolio of client projects and cross collaboration with multiple internal / external stakeholders to ensure projects are initiated, implemented, monitored and controlled and then closed out.


Key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Provide end-to-end project management for assigned projects as the single point of contact
  • Provide reporting to stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Validate new projects and assist in the assignment to PMs/PCs where required
  • Manage risk and issues for assigned projects, providing clear communications and project support to the stakeholders
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, to agreed scope, quality and budget
  • Control all assigned BAU projects on behalf of the PMO ensuring that the project owner meets required standards to achieve BAU and handoff to our SOC
  • Coordinate with Professional Services resources to ensure smooth operational delivery of projects in accordance with SecureData project governance framework and PMO processes
  • Coordinate financial billing, time and expenses for the PMO realising project revenues upon project completion
  • Responsible for enforcing PMO standards and policies across the organisation on behalf of the PMO Manager
  • Being a PMO ambassador and go to person

You must have the following qualifications and experience:

  • A Project Management Qualification is essential – PRINCE2 Practitioner or Agile certified
  • ITIL (training and support can be provided for the right candidate).
  • Formal documenting and/or technical authoring experience.
  • 1-2 years project management experience.
  • Experience of working cross functional teams and within a multi-resource environment including working with third parties
  • Aptitude for mathematics to accurately perform financial tasks such as P&L
  • Proven ability to manage several diverse projects simultaneously.
  • Experience of working within a structured project delivery environment.
  • Experience providing reports and presentations.
  • Experience of BAU transition and operational services
